In two thousand eight, I went to go working technical accounting and accounting research at this fortune 500 company. And what i found was there were solutions for lease management and lease administration, but there was nothing for lease accounting. So the chief accounting officer tasked me with teaching all the controllers how to account for leases under eight forty - which was easy at the time. But as i'm creating it, mly, well, wait a minute, there has to be softer that does this. Because this is very eight forty is very simple accountings. The rules are very simple.
