Researchers at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh are trying to paint a picture of activities within a room. Their idea is to receive Wi-Fi signals and run them through an artificial intelligence algorithm. This algorithm has been trained on signals that have been bounced off people engaged in a variety of known activities. It was able to reconstruct moving digital portraits these are called pose estimations of all of the individuals in the room.
