What Locke Got From Descartes Is the Idea of Ideas

John locke saw himself as the other and great figures of the seventeenth century whom we admire, did as a pioneer of something called the new philosophy. He hated aristotle because he had an idea of natural knowledge which was coming to seem to be an obstacle to progress in the natural sciences.
