i think it is undeniable that the particularly the way that this student loan forgiveness plan was structured and executed, there is no explanation for the way it went down other than electoral gamesmanship and partisanship. It does not help the least well off, which is a stated goal of the, you know, many people in politics, but especially democrats. The debt relief thing is a natural consequence of that phenomenon. i still think there is always an elite consensus. And the current elite consensus i am not enjoying. But neither did I enjoy previous elite consenses, consensi consensi.
