India is a liberal democracy but in India it's neither liberal nor democratic. How do we arrive at a situation where we have constitutional safeguards to stop the descent into tyranny and at the same time achieve a high transmission efficiency? What I propose is a version of gamified direct democracy so what we'll do is imagine that we did away with our empties right and we adopted the old Athenian model that everybody can vote.
