The author has lived in china for a long time, presumably after corea. She wanted to write about mongolia but couldn't afford it because of its high prices. So she moved there and wrote the book 'Mongolia: A Memoir' It was published by Simon & Schuster at £20 ($30) with an advance of up to £10,000 (US$15,500) In three or four years he earned more than 100,000 pounds - which is pretty good for a book.
