The select committee on the modernization of Congress is one of these temporary pop-up committees that Congress creates every so often to try to reform itself. The last time they did this was in 2018 and came up with exactly zero Recommendations by the end of the year. But after a bizarre thing happens where They not only pass 202 bipartisan recommendations but two-thirds of them end up getting implemented or are well on their way to implementation. And now the Republican controlled majority has just Decided to reincarnate this committee as a subcommittee on the House administration committee.
