The UK Stockpile of Midazolam

The UK government ordered the biggest stockpile ever of a drug used to put people under anesthesia. The number of prescriptions for the drug Madazzle plan double during height of the pandemic and right before the pandemic. There was a large increase in prescriptions for midazolam in april 2020 in the UK But this was a specific type of prescription This was out of hospital prescriptions. No one knows exactly for sure, but the prevailing theory is that this was for elderly people who were in a lot more pain.
