NATO and China: The Future of NATO

There is a four letter word being used in China and there's been some previous discussion or comment from various quarters in Beijing that the Quad is aiming to be a new NATO. There wasn't any discussion about this at least, not that I heard EU and NATO have a bit of a sort of, you know, they don't tend to discuss each other at the meeting. But interestingly, Japan is taking a real interest in what's going on here in Europe. The next NATO summit's in July and it's in Lithuania. So we know very well from our previous discussions how they feel about China. They're going to make sure that China is high on the agenda in Vilnius.
