Facebook offered two times as much for DeepMind, but they wouldn't allow Dennis has said he got his name wrong. Google's business model was based on ads and if you start showing people the answer straight away, that messes up your core business. The consensus it sounds like is just they're saying, you know, DeepMind stuff internally, what people have been playing around with is on paper,. What people say is as good, if not better than the stuff we're seeing. But the key thing is it's only internal, right? It doesn't really mean much.
