Tyler Smith: One of the most common misconceptions about what contemplative prayer is meant to be is that when I am sitting quietly before the Lord, I'm awaiting revelation. He says God by his Holy Spirit is transforming each and every one of us who calls Jesus Lord from the inside out. "Everything that I do, everything I gain language for in my own redemption story ... it's all in response to what you are already doing within me," he says.
