The Importance of Owning Your Company Server

I think you own something when you pay for it. Sub stack owns the server. So if their server gets hacked or it's not going to happen that their server is going to get hacked. I'm just saying that like the possibilities arise that something happens internally within their company server that there's nothing I can do about. Whereas I own my WordPress sites and I own them because I own the domain, which I bought. I own the server space, which I pay for and kind of even more.
