Facebook's Focus on Content That Drives Engagement

Facebook has never been super up front with how much, no or how it determines the content you've seen on your news feed. What matters to facebook is that people are engaging with that content and thus spending more time on the platform. The actual content of the post doesn't matter to facebook. They are content agnostic when it comes to that. Unfortunately, one of the crappy things about humans is that we tend to respond with or to outrage more readily than just about anything else.
