How to Avoid the Social Media Effect

I go on there every day and have a look just to check what my friends are up to. I don't post a lot of stuff myself on there unless I'm doing something amazing, like going to Antarctica. And then it's like, yeah, look how amazing my life is. You're contributing to making the world a worse place by posting your mundane days as well. It's a problematic company, but I almost feel like it's too big to fail.
