There's a simultaneous decline of Y-chromosomal diversity dating to the Neolithic has been observed across most extent Y-hat-progutes possibly due to increased conflict between male mediated patrelines. The study suggests that R1A M4-1-7 was subject to a non-random increase in frequency resulting in these males having 15.79% more surviving offspring per generation relative to males of the other Y- Hat-Progutes.
