Is There a Gender Inequality in Education?
I think that sometimes this is framed as somehow zero sum. What you want is to prove everyone's GPA, but then have a more equitable share so that the way it's distributed. The reason we really wanted girls and women to do better in school was so that they could get better jobs and become economically independent. So those same arguments apply to boys and men. It's just that we never had to think that way before because we had a world that was basically made for them.
