CHAPTER

Voltaire's Inoculation of Smallpox

Inoculation arose from a despicable practice. Circasians sold their daughters into the caravan sex slavery trade. And so circassian women increasingly inoculate all of their children against smallpox. Inoculation may have come to england via these two women because of a practice that arose for more profit in selling daughters into slavery. But there it is now capable of preventing human beings from unnecessary death and suffering. It is to be judged by the utility and the humanity of its effects, not by its origin.
