The Human Role in the Preduction of the Scriptures
The human role in the preduction of the scriptures, i think, has been unnecessarily a minimized and sideline. The spirit empowered nature of the biblical authors is what is being summarized by paul when he says to timothy that all scripture is inspired by god. But if you look in the hebrew bible, especially when god's spirit is at work, aside from genesis one, verse two, when there's no humans on the scene, it's through humans. It's not by side lining their human agency. It's actually making them become more human, as it were.
