Is the Revolution Going Too Far?
Ge: The french revolution both went too far in some ways, not far enough in others. It was ultimately forced to kind of be constrained by the limits of the historical time period that it was happening in and this kind of inevitable rise of capitalism which nobody could have really stopped. And i think what we can learn about as left us to day, as communist, as socialists to day is that there is this sort of shadow side of our movement where at times, andnd to some extent, are understandable given the hothouse conditions.
