You Don't Want to Be the Parent

I think there's a reasonable amount of pressure and expectation you can't deny that. I know what it felt like to have my mom snatch the life out of me because I started cutting up in public. Other black people will dress you down for not being the type of mother they think that you need to be. Beth Pearson from This Is Us is a lovely character. She brings so much warmth and and vibrance to the character in a really beautiful way. But she would love to aspire to be, but I just could never. Let's just start and stop with the fact that she and her daughters all have new hairstyles every three to five days.
