How to Cast a Fish With Multiple Distance Targets

Short targets are harder because we don't have much line out of the rod tip. Once you get beyond 40 feet, that's where you got to start thinking about double hulls. I talked about it earlier about some of these new lines with multiple colors. It's been around for a while. But having these color changes in the fly line, you can sometimes look and see that line be like, okay, I got the color change in my rod tip. That means there's 30 feet of line. You can do some quick math. So I'll strip that line in once I get that color change close to my rod tips. Now I can pick it up and fire it back out
