The Relationship Between Hermeneutics and Homiletics

The relationship between the indicative and the imperative is called hermeneutics. After we have interpreted scripture in such a way that we're able to see Christ in the gospel revealed in the particular text, then we can draw imperatives from it. So I think there is an inseparable relationship between hermeneutic and homiletics. And they are to go back to what you said about covenant theology and the imperative.
