Anna Edgerton: US lawmakers are casting an eye at their counterparts over in Europe. In her scene of IBM, Montgomery said there's been a lot of hype around generative AI but that doesn't mean we should move away from the risk-based approach they started taking in Europe. Lindsay Gorman is senior fellow for emerging technologies at German Marshall Funds Alliance for Securing Democracy. She says it really is about application for many at the moment.
