"I hated being a woman, I thought it was so unfair," she says of her childhood. "Everything around my culture told me that being a woman wasn't that interested and I hated that." The author is not much of a critic or an essay writer but writes when she has an idea for a novel. She wants to show how the feminine nature is mysterious as well as machism.
