The Russian military doesn't worry so much about morale. It just, you either go forward or if you come backwards, we'll shoot you. There's this thing called moral injury in veterans shelters. You have a set of beliefs about why you're going somewhere and your mates are risking their lives. And then when you get there, the evidence you see in front of your eyes is completely dissonant. I mean, how many armies have been told that they will be greeted as liberators? But with Hitler, what do you mean? We're here to help you?"
