next for irrational labs? What are you excited about as we approach 20 22?
Speaker 1
Great, irrationaln we think about health, wealth and happiness. Why those things? Cause it's helping people do things that are hard for us to do in the short run, and this is night gy, but are good for us in the long run. So, eating better, saving money for retirement, calling our mothers, all these things are good for us to do what may be hard in the short run. The thing we're most excited about recently has been health work. How do we help people see their doctor, take their medication? Amere health is counted out all the rage and health care, then the questionis, how effective is it? And can we help improve its effectiveness? It obviously its the essence of behavior af science that decreases the barrier to see a medical professional, and yet it also removes authority by a see another person, a wlhite coat, helping you the sunk cost of going into the doctors. And so the medical industries, and tons of a v c funding is going into it right now, is really moving that way. In our rationalibes, we've worked with some of the top names of the insurance, the payers, the jud therapeutics, and were cone double downing on bringing behavoral science into the health field. And then the second thing is, we've spent a lot of time and energy with this s camp, right? Like, how do people get into behavora sciences? Like men? I didn't want to get a ph dcause if you gat a ph d, there's no like industry job out there for you. If i wi think many times pumpies don't hire p h ds s a signal that you've dopped into the academic market. And it's a five year come itment a on applied topic. So it's really hard to get into the field. And so we've created this boot camp that quickly onboards people into it and focuses on getting you outcomes in your company, so that you can go back show progress in tehavra science and actually to start practising as a behavra scientist. So our next ones opening up, not to day, but in a few days, and we'll launch in in january. If listener, s ar uter said,
