Impassibility and the Diontic Dimensions of Perfect Moral Goodness
classical theism says that god's primary motivation for his actions is his own goodness or glory. An impassable god cannot be moved or influenced by anything outside of himself. This does not fit well with the diontic and consequential dimensions of perfect moral goodness. If there's no best possible outcome, then god will bring about a good outcome.
