Tetnus, protessus and pertussis are all bacterial illnesses. Tetnus can be treated after the fact but is not a perfect vaccine. If you've gotten a dirty wound or have been exposed to something that looks like it could pose a health risk, get checked out by your doctor as soon as possible. For inlance, i have to be aware that you've got a dirty wound and that you're at risk of getting this infection.
