GCP vs Twitter - Is Twitter in the Cloud?

The decision point came down to like it's just way too fucking cheap for Twitter to run in particular. Ultimately, I think when we made decision to go to GCP really felt more like a high level sort of decision that sort of ignored some of the physics of both the cost of running on GCP versus running on Twitter.
