The Book of Judges
In a sermon years ago, i was told that the book of judges was a very dark time for israel. Reliance on law and righteousness led to the period of relying on law and unrighteousness which led to Judges. What i thought then and what i wonder now, is our society a parallel period whereby we all sit around waiting to hear what courts will rule. In my world view, mercy triumphs over judgment. And so we're not reallyand it's not really a difference as much as we're looking at a mirror darkly here, and we're on opposite sides of the reflection you had me at demonocalt. Nice.
