The Cure and the Jam
The Cure's music is danceable in part because of the kind of backbone and like drums and bass that ride these really tight grooves. They evolved on this, but I think early on, like 17 seconds, they were kind of reducing themselves. And I think that like stuck with them for perhaps a lifetime. When they made more, they made not only danceable, but beyond that, they made a lot of happy music.
