The purpose of the skin is that it tells you what the patients cart output is, or it approximates it. A patient who has warm, well perfused skin has good flow. And then at a different point, i was taught thatwhat the skin is telling you is something about their s f r,. Their systemac vascular resistance, how vaso constricted or dilated they are. This confused me for a while, because it can't be both, right? The message i want to try to give you to day is that it actually is both. It's meaningless to say something about the output without thinking about the resistance, or vice versa.
