Is Mindful Eating Like Intuitive Eating?

It took me so long to learn how to eat mindfully. I feel like sometimes if I am watching a movie or show when I'm eating, I can slow down and enjoy it more than if I'm just eating. So you really have to find what works for you. Some some doctors advise it's actually healthier to eat with someone else because it slows you down. Having that extra external stimulation can be so helpful in kind of just like allowing yourself to enjoy the foods as well.
