The Firework of Magnus

Magnus found himself standing outside a house surrounded by flames. He tried charging toward the fire, but every time an explosion of sparks burst towards him like a firework. The same thing happened when he tried approaching the house from another side. Magnus decided to give it one more try and ran in front of the tiny red brick cottage that had welcomed him into its home. Milo and Matilda were all sitting at the table eating their porridge as they looked on with surprised faces.
