How to Teach Empathy Skills to Your Child

I think you can learn to be more empathetic, even if it's just, we call it fake it till you make it. I've always taught my kid empathy skills. And now he does them instinctively,. Whenever another kid would fall down in the playground and get hurt, I'd say, oh, let's go give him a cuddle. He just rushes over and puts his arms around him and says, it's okay. It's all right. Can I help? Hopefully these things can be taught. So even if I'm accidentally raising a narcissist, at least he can, you know, not wreck the world.
