The Fragility of Divine Love
Suffering is something not to be overcome but to be endured at certain seasons. God himself has entered into the experience of suffering and taken it into his own into his own body so that the implications of the cross of God revealed as a God who takes suffering into his own being he doesn't. The picture of divine love which we which we see in the cross is an extraordinary thing because on the one hand it it's immensely powerful in this God's power which can obliterate death and bring life and healing.
