The Museum of Bones and Bone Rooms

There's a surprising lack of consistency over many, many decades and decades I would say before that is sort of systematized and sorted out. The Smithsonian has a lot to do with that in that they're processing and cataloging these collections and then maybe trading them away from one place to another but it is also simultaneously the case as they're working to sort of normalize and make into specimens sort of to scientize these collections. There are also these spectacular or remarkable collections that arrive at museums as well that, you know, sometimes are very ancient or were acquired from sort of bizarre circumstances.
