The Importance of Monitoring Patients With Low Renal Function

If you see a patient with all renal function please make sure that they are under follow up by the renal team. Planning renal replacement therapy takes time and does require an MDT approach, crash-landers or patients that need to start dialysis in hospital will have a worse prognosis. Remember it is not all about the numbers and all patients are different and as a physician we should keep the patients wishes and concerns as our top priority.
