The Evolution of Moral Philosophy in the 1960s

In the 50s and 60s, moral philosophy underwent a huge evolution. Philippa Foote famously brought out that we need to reflect on some of the ways in which we actually use moral language. And so you find some of those contributions appearing in public life,. things like the brain's trust in what was called the third program, which later became Radio 3. There might even be more of a presence in public philosophical life than there is now.
