When it comes to a seeking out new music, that it is similar to a drug. You need to go find it. And those are the things you can do on record store society. The more experience you have with a genre of art, usually the weirder you need it to be. I would not be surprised if deep down, subconsciously perpetually seeking stranger music, seeking the experimental and the am the new for lack of a better word, is perhaps trying to find that thrill again.
