Lionel Crab was one of the nation's wartime heroes. Frankie Franklin went back and he told his boss in Portsmouth. He must have told his boss, sir, I've been supervising Crab. Where is he? Well, he hasn't come back. What? We'd better go and see the commander. A Lionel Crab has not reappeared. And then after two hours, what was Frankie thinking? It was clear to Franklin and everyone else that Lionel Crab would not be coming back. Ever.
