Glass frogs are active during the night when there isn't a particular risk from predators. They take almost 90% of their pigmented red blood cells and hide them in their liver. This means that it's really hard to work out the outline of the frog anymore. Scientists honestly don't have a clue how they're managing to do it. It takes only a couple of seconds for the blood to reprophuse around the body when they wake up and walk around.
