Do You Use a VPN on the Router Level?
How do you evaluate whether a tool is privacy preserving what kind of characteristics and proofs must it show you for it to be private in your eyes? For me personally i think the most important things that that it is free and open source that it is is a tool that is well known and well used. If they're not able to provide useful information about the person that is that's investigating or whatever i think that's a very good sign that their privacy protections do actually protect your privacy from them and that it's effective so i think that can be a good one.
