The Story of the Bassari Painting

The team planned to send a camera into the wall and see if they could find evidence of this lost painting. A hundred and 50 art historians from museums and galleries around the world put together a petition to stop this project. The search for the painting, which was part of a pro ject that national geographic was filming for a show, was halted completely.
