The Untrusted Tech of Facebook

The story that caught my eye was around this so-called leak of a Facebook memo. It's exposed what we've known for a while, which is that Facebook are really worried about TikTok. The new head of the Facebook business wants to change the way that Facebook serve up content on the stream and on the newsfeed in more of a way that is the TikTok way. And actually, it's something that worries me. Do you mean that addictive behavior is sort of modeled or capturing our attention and keeping it? There's a fundamental difference in the way that content is served to users.
