The Politics of Education

Education right now is controlled by gatekeepers, whether they're teachers union style gatekeepers or their ideological gatekeepers with regard to all the CRT stuff. So if you come in as a new person, you have to make a choice pretty quickly. Are you going to just be part of that crowd, or are you going to push back? It sounds like she very wisely pushed back against some of the stuff that they wanted her to teach in the classroom and good for her. But I also think their story is should be very worrisome to us as Americans, because educated people shouldn't go to a state like California.
