The Future of Ocean Sediments

Deep sea cores can often span over 100 million years of very high detailed records. We know exactly why the oceans warmed at certain times and which parts of the oceans change climate. The ocean is now becoming too rich in carbon dioxide and starting to get acidic, making carbonic acid. And we're in danger of losing plankton too, aren't we, if the climate change continues unchecked? That's right.
