I do appreciate magical realism. It's always difficult to talk about because it is a sort of label that's been imposed not by Latin American writers but by a Spanish one. The thing in Mexico, it is like that reality. And I want to start writing in a way that gives more space to fantasy life and doing things that are not precisely real.
