The Ultimate Even Pre-Funding Pivot Story
I was hard there as the first engineer to build a deployment tool UI and that eventually became the developer portal that we built inside Workday. I decided to quit my job in the first lockdown of the pandemic in 2020 and tried to start a company which eventually became roady. And then two or three days later, somebody from Spotify contacted me on LinkedIn and sent me over a link to the open source backstage repository. But he got told into the team at Spotify and they seemed happy to have us working in space and helping to push the project forward. So that's probably one of the ultimate even pre funding pivot stories for a startup.
