Mark Andreessen: The NCSA

Mark Andreessen was an early adopter of the latest and greatest internet innovation, the World Wide Web. He happened to be in exactly the right place at exactly the right time. The NCSA had been set up to advance supercomputing research and development. By 1991, the University of Illinois was hooked up to the improved T3 system which meant he would have access to one of the fastest network connections available anywhere in the world.
